Ukrainian tissue manufacturer Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill purchased a TT SYD Steel Yankee Dryer and a high efficiency TT Hood system from Toscotec to fully replace their existing cast iron dryer cylinder and Yankee hoods on PM2 at their Obukhiv mill, south of Kyiv. The project is planned for start-up in 2025.

International technology group Andritz has successfully started up a new DD-Washer drum displacer washer at the Tanigawa pulp mill of Hyogo Pulp Industries Ltd, a leading Japanese unbleached kraft pulp producer. The installation of the new DD-Washer is a key upgrade to the mill’s high-kappa brown stock washing line.
The installation of the HighPerformance Press in the press section of Smurfit Westrock Roermond Papier's PM 1 represents a milestone in the development of the product. After a rebuild time of only 38 hours and a smooth start-up, production was fully ramped up again.
International technology group Andritz has received an order from global hygiene and health company Essity to deliver a PrimeDry YES (Yankee Eco Steam System) for a tissue machine at its mill in Stubbins, England. Start-up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.

International technology group Andritz has received an order to supply a dry fiberboard recycling line to Sonae Arauco’s mill in Mangualde, Portugal. The line will recycle end-of-life fiberboards back into valuable fibers as new raw material for fiberboard production. It will be the first industrial-scale fiberboard recycling line in the world. Start-up of the recycling line is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.
