The Board of Directors of Södra is submitting a revised proposal for profit distribution for consideration by the General Meeting to be held on 2 June in Jönköping. The revision entails a dividend of 2 per cent on both paid-in and issued member capital, instead of a 2 per cent member capital issue. It is being presented following the broad dialogues and discussions the Board has held with members during the annual meeting period and with the Council of Representatives. The Board assesses that the change can be implemented without affecting Södra’s financial stability. In addition, the Board has decided to allow trading below nominal value in members’ issued capital, a question that has also been raised by members.

It is with profound sadness that Barry-Wehmiller announces the death of its Chairman of the Board, Robert H. Chapman. Bob Chapman was more than a business leader, author and speaker, he was a relentless optimist who dedicated his life to building a better world. Johan Padel, Head of the Wood Products business area, has decided to leave Holmen during the course of the year. He will be succeeded by Karolina Svensson, currently Head of Business Development for Wood Products.
