Barry-Wehmiller announces the passing of Chairman Bob Chapman
It is with profound sadness that Barry-Wehmiller announces the death of its Chairman of the Board, Robert H. Chapman. Bob Chapman was more than a business leader, author and speaker, he was a relentless optimist who dedicated his life to building a better world. He worked to redefine what it meant to be a leader in business, to further the understanding that it was an awesome responsibility because the way we lead impacts the way people live. He worked tirelessly to bring more caring to business and built the foundation for Barry-Wehmiller to champion new definitions for success in business: by demonstrating that economic growth and human vibrancy can exist in harmony.
Johan Padel to leave Holmen
Johan Padel, Head of the Wood Products business area, has decided to leave Holmen during the course of the year. He will be succeeded by Karolina Svensson, currently Head of Business Development for Wood Products.

Change in SCA's group management
SCA and Petteri Kalela have agreed that Kalela will leave his role as Head of Business Areas Containerboard and Pulp. “I would like to extend my warm thanks to Petteri for his valuable contributions and strong commitment to SCA during his time with us, and wish him every success in his future career,” says SCA’s President and CEO, Ulf Larsson.

MIAC - the International Exhibition of the Paper Industry - has represented for over thirty years the annual benchmark event for professionals in the paper industry. From 7 to 9 October 2026, the Lucca Exhibition Centre will host the 32nd edition of the event.
Chemspec Europe to return to Cologne in May 2026
Chemspec Europe, cross-sector sourcing hub for fine and speciality chemicals, has announced its return to Cologne on 6-7 May 2026. Six months ahead of opening, three quarters of exhibition space has already been sold, with several industry heavyweights already confirmed. The quality line-up includes industry leaders like Evonik, WeylChem, CABB, Saltigo, Seqens, Johnson Matthey, Yashashvi Rasayan, and Brenntag.
