Södra appoints Cecila Karlsson as new CFO
Södra has appointed Cecilia Karlsson to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Södra. She will take up the position on 1 December 2026. Cecilia has extensive experience in the finance area. She most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Öresundskraft and has previously held similar roles at IKEA and Findus, as well as having many years of experience at McKinsey. She holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.

ZELLCHEMING-Expo 2026 once again reaffirmed its position as the central meeting place for the European paper and fiber industry. From June 16 to 18, approximately 2,500 trade visitors and more than 130 exhibitors and partner organizations gathered at the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in Wiesbaden to discuss current challenges, present innovations, and develop new perspectives for the industry. With high booth occupancy, strong international participation, and new sources of inspiration, the event signaled stability and sustainability.

Interpack 2026 sends a global signal for the industry
Interpack 2026 sent a clear signal: the packaging industry is more closely connected, more innovative and more dialogue-oriented than ever before. SCA appoints new SVP Sustainability and Communications
SCA has appointed Klas Nilsson as its new SVP Sustainability and Communications. Klas will assume the position in the autumn of 2026 and will be a member of SCA’s Management Team.

Södra board revises profit distribution proposal
The Board of Directors of Södra is submitting a revised proposal for profit distribution for consideration by the General Meeting to be held on 2 June in Jönköping. The revision entails a dividend of 2 per cent on both paid-in and issued member capital, instead of a 2 per cent member capital issue. It is being presented following the broad dialogues and discussions the Board has held with members during the annual meeting period and with the Council of Representatives. The Board assesses that the change can be implemented without affecting Södra’s financial stability. In addition, the Board has decided to allow trading below nominal value in members’ issued capital, a question that has also been raised by members.
Toscotec to attend TAPPICon 2026 in Columbus
