Interpack 2026 sends a global signal for the industry
Interpack 2026 sent a clear signal: the packaging industry is more closely connected, more innovative and more dialogue-oriented than ever before. This momentum was immediately visible in the exhibition halls. High visitor traffic, intensive discussions and a consistent international presence shaped the atmosphere. Everywhere, it was possible to experience the determination with which companies are working on solutions for the future. Ideas were discussed, tested and decisions were made. The entire value chain was presented in live.
Emtec at Paper Bioeconomy 2026
Once again, this year emtec Electronic will participate in the Paper Bioeconomy Conference & Tradeshow in Graz, Austria, presenting its innovative measurement solutions. Metsä Fibre, part of the Metsä Group, has selected international technology group Andritz to modernize the cooking system at its bioproduct mill in Kemi, Finland. Start-up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Zipform to develop Dry Molded Fiber meat trays as PulPac licensee
PulPac has signed Australia-based Zipform Packaging as a new licensee of its Dry Molded Fiber technology, marking a step forward in scaling fiber-based solutions into demanding food packaging applications. The license agreement gives Zipform access to PulPac’s patented technology, enabling the company to develop and industrialize new fiber-based packaging solutions within its existing business and customer base.
