Toscotec is pleased to confirm its participation in MIAC 2026, the key international event for the paper industry, held right in the heart of Lucca’s paper district. Scheduled for October 7-9, 2026, it gathers international visitors, suppliers, and clients across the Tissue, Paper & Board, and Nonwovens sectors.
Serving as a key gathering for the paper sector, MIAC provides the ideal backdrop for Toscotec to connect with clients, partners, and suppliers. The team will be available throughout the event at booth B85 to present the latest innovations, showcase the company’s product portfolio, and engage in meaningful conversations about future industry developments.
The company will also take part in the official conference program across the Energy and the Tissue panels. On October 7 at 2:50 PM, in the Energy session, Gian Luca Fornesi – Head of Sales Application for the Paper & Board Division at Toscotec – will discuss “High-impact shoe press upgrades: driving energy efficiency and cost reduction.” The presentation will offer practical insights into how targeted press section upgrades can deliver significant sustainability benefits while simultaneously improving machine runnability and production economics.
On October 8 at 11:50 AM, in the Tissue session, Marco Dalle Piagge – Sales Director of Toscotec’s Tissue Division – will present “Technology improvements: a new generation of Pope reel. The TT BulkyReel – field results and references.” He will detail the TT BulkyReel’s operating principles and will examine its performance benefits compared with conventional Pope reel technologies.
