Sappi Europe announces price increase for label papers

Following an extended period of downward pressure, label paper prices have reached unsustainable levels. In the face of continued cost increases, Sappi Europe, producer of Label papers, announces 8% to 10% price increases for the Parade range of label papers including, non-wet strength and wet strength Wet Glue Label papers and Self-Adhesive Face papers, effective 1 April 2026.

Ensuring reliable and sustainable supply is critical to the labelling value chain, as is ensuring the long-term financial viability of our operations. Given the ongoing disconnect between market prices and structural cost levels, this increase represents a first step toward re-establishing sustainable label paper price levels.

Sappi Europe remains committed to ensuring consistent product availability and exceptional service offered to printers, converters and brand owners. The announced increase will support continued investment in production assets, product development and supply reliability for Label paper.
