Toscotec started up the PM3 after the complete rebuild of the drying section at the Papeterie Le Bourray mill. This repeat order follows the successful PM4 rebuild in 2020 – where a state-of-the-art forming section helped the mill achieve its target. This pivotal project supports the mill in achieving energy consumption reduction, marking a tangible commitment to a greener future. This aligns with the company’s sustainability objectives, by fostering a local circular economy and transforming recycled wastepaper into regenerative resources through a greener manufacturing process.

Voith successfully started up PM 6, China’s first high-speed MG specialty paper machine for low basis weight grades, at APP’s Jindong Dagang mill in Zhenjiang. Sappi Limited (“Sappi”) and UPM-Kymmene Corporation (“UPM”) have announced the signing of binding (definitive) agreements to form a non-listed, independent 50/50 Joint Venture for graphic paper. This Joint Venture proposes to bring together Sappi’s European Graphic Paper business with UPM’s Communication Papers business in Europe, the UK and the US.

Valmet will deliver a new stationary lime cooler for Heinzel Pöls pulp mill in Austria. The new cooler significantly improves the lime kiln’s energy efficiency compared to the existing rotary cooler, reduces maintenance needs, and enables the capacity increase of the existing lime kiln.

National Power Supply Public Company Limited (NPS), part of Double A Group, has selected Andritz to supply a recovery boiler and evaporation plant for a new bioenergy power plant in Tha-Toom, Thailand. The systems will be installed at the pulp and paper mill of Double A Group to recover chemicals and generate renewable energy. The order value is in the high double-digit million euro range. It is included in Andritz’s order intake for the first quarter of 2026.
