Mondi, global actor in packaging and paper, is supplying a sustainable mono-material, recyclable packaging for zooplus AG, a European pet food online retailer. The sustainable packaging is used for a new dry dog food product line for their own top brand ‘Wolf of Wilderness’.

Valmet to supply start-up clothing to Stora Enso’s Oulu Mill in Finland

Valmet will supply start-up clothing to Stora Enso’s Oulu Mill in Finland. The start-up clothing includes forming fabrics, press felts, shoe press belts and dryer fabrics. The clothing order is related to Stora Enso’s paper machine (PM 7) grade conversion project delivered by Valmet. The order is included in Valmet’s orders received of the third quarter 2020. The clothing will be delivered for the start-up of the rebuilt BM 7, which is scheduled for the end of 2020. The value of the order is not disclosed.

Domtar has chosen Voith to provide a complete recycled stock preparation system for the recently announced conversion of the Kingsport Mill in Kingsport, Tennessee. Mack Brooks Exhibitions has today announced the postponement of Chemspec Europe,which was scheduled to take place at Koelnmesse, Cologne in Germany from 11 to 12 November 2020. The new dates for the next Chemspec Europe, 35th International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals, are 19 - 20 May 2021. The exhibition will occupy Hall 12.1 at Messe Frankfurt in Germany.

A new dedicated study of specialty papers in North and South America finds these two regions consumed a total of 5.88 million tonnes in 2019. Market demand will drop as a result of Covid-19 in 2020 to 5.71 million tonnes before returning to positive growth (1.4% CAGR) and reaching 6.13 million tonnes in 2025 according to “The Future of Specialty Papers in North and South America to 2025”.
