Spinnova’s partner NZ TEX Group supports scaling of Spinnova® fibre

NZ TEX Group, Spinnova’s long-term woven fabric manufacturing partner based in Bangladesh, supports the scaling of Spinnova® fibre by joining the Spinnova ecosystem. NZ TEX Group and Spinnova have jointly developed fabrics, including denim, over several years, and the partners are now formalising and strengthening their cooperation through the ecosystem model.

With more than 100 member organisations involved in developing real-world solutions for paper-based packaging, 4evergreen’s collective strength was on full display as over 150 participants gathered in Brussels for the internal Face-to-Face Meeting on 26–27 May.

Stora Enso invests in fluff pulp production increase at its Skutskär business unit

Stora Enso strengthens its focus on specialised pulp grades by investing EUR 19 million in fluff pulp production increase at its Skutskär production unit in Sweden. This investment will cater to the growing consumer demand for hygiene products. As a result of the ongoing change negotiations, the company has also decided to permanently close softwood pulp production on fiberline 3 (L3).

SCA updates MTN programme and publishes prospectus

Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget SCA (publ) on May 8, 2018 established a Medium Term Note program (MTN) with a loan framework amounting to SEK 8 billion. In connection with the annual update in 2026, SCA’s Board of Directors has resolved to increase the borrowing limit from SEK 8 billion to SEK 12 billion to ensure flexibility and diversification in the financing. Up to and including June 11, 2026, SCA has issued SEK 9.95 billion under the MTN program, of which SEK 6,5 billion is outstanding.

National Power Supply, Thailand, expands renewable energy generation with Andritz recovery boiler

National Power Supply Public Company Limited (NPS), part of Double A Group, has selected Andritz to supply a recovery boiler and evaporation plant for a new bioenergy power plant in Tha-Toom, Thailand. The systems will be installed at the pulp and paper mill of Double A Group to recover chemicals and generate renewable energy. The order value is in the high double-digit million euro range. It is included in Andritz’s order intake for the first quarter of 2026.
