Packbridge: Agreement with China Packaging Federation

On October 17th a MoU agreement was solemnly signed between Packbridge and the China Packaging Federation, which has 6,000 members. The signing took place as a prelude to the leading international conference Top Packaging Summit by Packbridge 2012 in Lund, Sweden.

On October 1st, Tom Schaebinger, 50, took charge of the Mondi Europe & International Fibre Packaging business unit as its new CEO. He oversees the unit's four business segments: Corrugated Packaging, Industrial Bags, Extrusion Coatings and Release Liner.

Andritz: Biomass pre-treatment technology for Liberty project, US

Andritz, through its U.S. subsidiary Andritz Inc., received an order to supply its advanced continuous biomass pre-treatment technology for the Poet-DSM Advanced Biofuels commercial-scale biofuel facility being built in Emmetsburg, Iowa, USA.
