Holmen chooses Identity Works to develop its brand

Vinda Personal Care (China) starts up two AHEAD-2.0M tissue machines supplied by Toscotec

On November 19th Vinda Personal Care (China) Limited started up two Toscotec supplied AHEAD- 2.0M tissue machines in Xiaogan city, Hubei, China. With the start-up of these production lines, Vinda inaugurates its second production base in Xiaogan, located in the vicinity of its existing mill.

Andritz receives order to supply tissue machine to Berli Jucker Cellox, Thailand

Andritz has received an order from Berli Jucker Cellox Ltd. to supply a PrimeLineCOMPACT VI tissue machine with shoe press, including stock preparation and automation systems, for their mill in Prachinburi, Thailand. The machine is designed for grammages from 13 to 40 g/m2used for all kinds of high-quality tissue and towels.

Mondi to invest in Corrugated Packaging facility in Bupak, Czech Republic

Mondi plans to further invest in its Corrugated Packaging facility in Bupak, Czech Republic, which has already benefitted from significant investments in recent years. Once completed, the upgrade will make the Czech production facility another flagship plant for Mondi Group’s corrugated board segment.

Fifth Valmet-supplied Advantage DCT tissue line successfully started up at ICT's Iberica mill in Spain

Valmet-supplied Advantage DCT 200HS tissue production line including an extensive automation package was successfully started up at ICT Iberica's mill in Burgo, Spain, in September 2018. The new tissue line meets the company's intention to adopt state of the art technology for highest quality tissue production. Valmet has previously delivered four tissue lines to ICT companies in Italy, France and Poland.

Cascades Packaging starts up PM1 at Kingsey Falls after major rebuild by Toscotec

Following a major rebuild of the dryer section supplied by Toscotec with the installation of TT SteelDryers, Cascades Packaging fired up its PM1 at Kingsey Falls mill, Canada. The machine was started up on schedule on September 23rd, with the support of Toscotec’s service engineers, who also provided the commissioning and the erection supervision onsite.

Klingele Gruppe acquires the Spanish company Ondunova

The Klingele Group acquired all of the shares of the Gomà family in the Spanish Ondunova Group, a manufacturer of corrugated packaging in Catalonia (Spain). Klingele has been a part of the company since the early 1970s; and now Klingele has assumed full ownership. With this step, the packaging manufacturer continues its growth abroad.

On the 8th of November 2018, a solemn ribbon cutting ceremony took place at the new location of PMP Americas in South Beloit, Illinois USA took place. The facility was dedicated to PMP America’s late co-founder and Chairman of the Board Aaron Braaten.

UPM strengthens the foundations of the bioeconomy with a new biodiversity commitment

UPM published a new biodiversity commitment, which is one of the company's responsibility targets for 2030. The new commitment and programme will be presented today at the Conference of the Parties (COP14) of the United Nations' Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Valmet selected to provide automation services to seven Dalkia biomass power plants in France

Valmet has been selected to supply automation services to seven Dalkia power plants in France for the next five years. The agreements cover the biomass power plants in Facture, Rennes, Tours, Angers, Limoges, Orléans and Strasbourg. The service agreements are a step forward in the cooperation between Dalkia and Valmet.
