Dear ipw reader,

the news flow picks up speed. Not only the weather shows: summer is over. The trade show calendar for this autumn is fully packed, especially when it comes to packaging events. There is a whole bunch of events coming up and we will see exciting products, ideas and future themes. Just to name a few events, there is the Fachpack, Packaging Innovation in London, Label Expo in Brussels, Luxe Pack in Monaco, Emballage in Paris and Digital Print for Packaging in Berlin. Clearly, this is a growth market and there is new technology that is constantly improving and offering new opportunities. What percentage of packaging will be made of paper? How important is sustainability to consumers? What new features can paper packaging offer? These are some of the topics that we will be researching at these events. We might see some surprising, inspiring solutions. We might see new business cases. Coverage will be in ipw, but also our related publications that subscribers can access from ipwonline.de and clicking on login.

If you are in Frankfurt on September 10th, please join us at our 4th annual Paperazzo Haptik Awards ceremony and enjoy an evening of innovative paper products and their designers, music, drinks and dinner, friends and winners! More information at www.paperazzo.de.
