Editor-in-chief
Dear ipw reader,

it’s raining awards! The adjusted theme from the famous song performed by the Weather Girls would be a good tune for a summary of our latest news.

And the best thing is: All accolades underline that this industry is not only sustainable by nature and dedicated to the development of innovative production processes for energy and fuel from renewable sources, they also show that this sector is very active when it comes to social responsibility.

Otherwise UPM and SCA wouldn’t have been included in the Ethisphere Institutes’s 2013 list of the World’s Most Ethical companies for years in a row. However, it’s too bad that we are looking at the usual suspects. I could imagine that a lot of other players from the sector could sing along as well…

I hope to be able to report about more awardees soon. This would definitely help to enhance the attractiveness of this industry – especially for young people and consumers!

We will keep you updated in any event.

Sincerely,

PS: Dear readers, may your basket be full... We wish you a Happy Easter.
