Mondi Syktyvkar: Opening ceremony for pulp dryer

Mondi Syktyvkar officially opened its EUR 30 million pulp dryer with an event hosting 150 prominent attendees at the mill in Komi Republic, Russia.

 
 

“We are proud of Mondi Syktyvkar’s 45 year heritage in the Komi Republic of Russia. Our new pulp dryer project illustrates Mondi’s continued commitment to ensuring the success of the mill for years to come", concluded Peter Orisich, CEO of Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper.

“Our mill keeps progressing and mastering new business activities, as demonstrated by this most recent investment into the installation of the new pulp dryer. This project also creates employment for about 30 people in the mill", said Klaus Peller, Mondi Syktyvkar Managing Director.

All guests received samples of Mondi Syktyvkar’s new ‘KOMICELL’ product, which is an FSC certified market pulp that is produced without the use of elemental chlorine (ECF).
