“The main goal is to run and strengthen forestry business operations with only one system,” tells director of forestry Heikki Savolainen from Metsähallitus. Ohjas includes functions to plan, operate and report processes in wood trade, harvesting, bioenergy and silviculture. Operative financial transactions are also covered by Ohjas. Furterhermore, the system acts as a link in between Metsähallitus and the entrepreneurs.

The project just started and will be finalized in December 2015.
