The presentations will be scientifically founded and oriented towards or proven by industrial application.

The lecturers will focus on: the mechanisms of interface and colloidal phenomena in the paper machine wet end with a view to reducing costs and enhancing productivity; providing a forecast and controlling interactions of process additives, functional additives and fibre stock; creating new approaches to conditioning machine surfaces and machine clothing; ontrolling detrimental substances and deposits: and tailoring paper characteristics based on interface chemistry mechanisms.
