The conference from June 4th to June 5th 2014 will focus on the topic Innovation, Change and New
Technologies. The location will again be the Messecongress Graz.

Preferred topics of lectures are: General presentations related to the topic of the conference, Practical experience reports by pulp-, paper- and board mill professionals (modernizations, rebuilds,
optimization, energy projects….), Current trends in chemical pulping (incl. biorefinery concepts, 2nd generation biofuels, wood based chemicals …), Advances in mechanical pulping, recycled fiber production and stock preparation, Novel applications for pulp, paper and board and new pulp, paper and board based products (e.g. nanocellulose, superhydrophobic papers and boards, barrier materials, novel packaging solutions, printed electronics…), Technological innovations in paper and coating machinery (including machine clothing), New and improved raw materials and chemical additives and their optimal use in the furnish and in coatings, Current developments in measurement and control systems in the pulp and paper industry, Innovative methods in pulp and paper testing and analysis, Advances in research in all pulp and paper related fields, Contributions dealing with occupational health and safety issues and Workforce of the Future: Innovative concepts in the field of education in the pulp and paper industry.
