Part of the 2014 event will be the conference platform on science and innovation where new ideas and current research results can be presented which contribute to the future competitiveness of the sector and to efficient and sustainable production. This platform will focus on: Fibre Applications and Fibre Processes for an Industry under Transformation.

The organisation committee is seeking for new ideas and concepts for utilizing papermaking fibres for novel products, perspectives for combining papermaking knowledge and materials with other materials like textiles,
?cutting edge specialty fibres and their characterization, improving sustainability and (energy) efficiency of papermaking processes and novel process ideas and concepts.
