The registered offices of this joint venture, Schäfer MWN GmbH, are in Renningen near Stuttgart, Germany. Both companies have now combined their competences in the fields of design, engineering, material and process technology for advanced composites components with the aim of providing individual and customised solutions, for example for the energy, mechanical engineering or drive technology industries. Initial prototypes have already been
produced and are currently undergoing successful long-term tests.

The start of serial production has been scheduled for the second half of 2013.
