PAP-FOR Russia 2012: New project scales and formats

PAP-FOR Russia, the largest pulp and paper event in Eastern Europe, took place from October 30 to November 2 in St. Petersburg and attracted more visitors and exhibitors than ever. Furthermore, the event introduced a new business forum.

 
 

The exhibition has shown dynamic growth and development: the number of exhibitors increased by 22% comparing to 2010 and reached 311 companies from 24 countries, more than 55% of them were foreign companies. The interest to visit the exhibition has also been growing constantly: According to Reed Exhibition, this year 6, 216 industry professionals have visited the project which is 17% more than in 2010.

The premiere of 2012 was the Business Forum PAP-FOR. About 300 participants of the industry discussed topical questions of the pulp and paper industry. The main subject of Forum “The accession of Russia to WTO” was broadly presented at the round table, where government officials of EU, FSC and the largest industry manufacturers participated. It was moderated by was Konstantin Dobrynin, CEO RAO Bumprom.
