Wuzhou Special Paper selects Andritz as main supplier for new pulp mill in China
Wuzhou Special Paper (Jiangxi) Co. Ltd., a Chinese paper producer, has selected international technology group Andritz as the main supplier of key technologies and equipment for a new greenfield pulp mill in Hukou County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, China. Start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. The order was included in Andritz’s order intake for the first quarter of 2025. › more |

Voith and Wuzhou Specialty Paper successfully start up first DuoCentri NipcoFlex press with center belt
Following the contract announced in 2025, Voith has successfully started up PM 19 at Wuzhou Specialty Paper. The paper machine is the first worldwide to operate with Voith’s DuoCentri NipcoFlex press with center belt. The solution has now moved from development to commercial opera-tion and has already demonstrated stable production and reliable web runnability. › more |

Valmet’s automation ensures safe and efficient operation at the complex multifuel waste-to-energy plant in Poland
Valmet will supply the complete Valmet DNAe Distributed Control System (DCS) and safety systems for PEC Gliwice Sp. z o.o.’s new waste-to-energy steam unit, part of the Green Energy Park project under construction in Gliwice, Poland. The order was placed by the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) consortium consisting of Mostostal Zabrze Gliwickie Przedsiebiorstwo Budownictwa Przemyslowego S.A., Oschatz Power GmbH, and Przedsiebiorstwo Remontów Ulic i Mostów S.A. Spinnova begins trial runs at Woodspin demo factory
Spinnova’s plans to restart production at Woodspin’s demo factory are progressing. Trial runs will be started at the demo factory, with a particular focus on improving production efficiency. Most of the technological solutions to be tested during the trial runs have already been proven to work at a smaller pilot scale. Based on the results achieved in the trial runs, the company’s goal is to restart production on a larger scale during 2026. › more |
