Andritz to supply tissue production line with the latest shoe press technology to Vajda Papír

Andritzhas received an order from Vajda Papír to supply a complete tissue production line for its mill in Dunaföldvár, Hungary. Start-up is scheduled for March 2018. Verso to Permanently Close 200,000 Tons of Annual Production Capacity at its Androscoggin Mill

Verso Corporation announced plans to permanently shut down the No. 3 paper machine and associated equipment at its Androscoggin Mill in Jay, Maine, reducing annual coated paper production capacity at the mill by approximately 200,000 tons. After a long and severe examination process, the Hungarian Ministry of National Economy had selected our investment plan for an integrated hygiene paper manufacturing site as from national economical perspective preferred one and decided to support it with 4,5 billion HUF non-refundable contribution in the program of the National Enterprise Investment Scheme. Andritz and Metsä Fibre to eliminate fossil fuel use in lime kiln at Joutseno mill

Andritz and Metsä Fibre have successfully collaborated on a program to maximize reduction of the use of fossil fuels, as well as improve the overall performance of the lime kiln at the Joutseno mill in Finland. The goal of the program, entitled “Gasification Plant 100% Utilization Rate”, was to maximize the availability of all equipment, including the wood processing plant, dryer, gasification plant, and lime kiln, as well as the lime kiln burner and its heat transfer system. more...
