Little Rapids Corporation Awards Voith Paper to Supply New Tissue Machine for its Plant in Wisconsin

American specialty paper manufacturer Little Rapids Corporation has signed a contract with Voith Paper Brazil to purchase a new tissue paper machine. This new machine will replace the existing PM3, located in Shawano Wisconsin (USA).

First jumbo roll from converted PM 2 at Parenco

At exactly 12.00 hrs today the first jumbo roll of 100 grs paper was produced on PM2 at Parenco BV in Renkum, The Netherlands. During the past 13 months PM2, an idled newsprint machine, has been converted into a machine producing Testliner 3 and Fluting.

Heinzel Group to invest over EUR 100 million in Laakirchen

the Supervisory Boards of Laakirchen Papier AG and Heinzel Holding GmbH approved the extensive investments for the expansion of the Laakirchen paper mill in Austria involving total spending of over EUR 100 million. Kurt Maier, the Heinzel Holding CEO: “With these investments we will turn Laakirchen with its two paper machines into one of the most competitive and environmentally friendly paper mills in Europe – on a sustainable basis.

Resolute aims to Reduce Carbon Emissions

Resolute Forest Products Inc. announced that it, along with Serres Toundra Inc, has entered into a definitive agreement with CO2 Solutions Inc. to deploy leading enzyme-enabled carbon capture technology at Resolute's Saint-Félicien pulp mill.

Voith Receives Further Order from Lee & Man for Two Tissue Machines

Voith signed a contract in June 2016 with Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Limited to provide it with two tissue machines in Dongguan. The move is not only a continuation of the previous successful cooperation between Lee & Man and Voith, but also a consolidation of Voith's strong position in the global tissue machine market.

Valmet to supply a moisturizer system to Zhejiang Dongda Paper in China

Valmet will supply a moisturizer system to Zhejiang Dongda Paper Co. Ltd. in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. The new solution, Valmet IQ Moisturizer, will enable the mill to improve board quality on its paper machine PM2. The order is included in Valmet's second quarter 2016 orders received. The delivery will take place in September 2016.

ANDRITZ to supply pressurized refining and chip washing systems to Thailand

Andritz has received an order from Panel Plus MDF Co. Ltd. to supply pressurized refining equipment and chip washing systems for MDF (medium-density fiberboard) production lines I and II at the Hat Yai mill, Thailand. Start-up is scheduled for September 2017.
