Metso: Containerboard machine for Kipaş Kağıt in Turkey


Metso will supply Kipaş Kağıt Sanayi İşletmeleri A.Ş with a containerboard machine for their new mill site in Kahramanmaraş in southeastern Turkey. The start-up of the new machine is scheduled for 2013.

Voith: Tissue machine for SCA Kostheim, Germany


SCA Hygiene Products GmbH has commissioned Voith Paper with the supply of a tissue machine in Central Europe. The new TM 5 line will be installed at the Kostheim site near Mainz, Germany, and delivered in a comprehensive Process Line Package design.

AkzoNobel: Investing EUR 80 million at new Suzano pulp mill, Brazil


AkzoNobel is planning to invest EUR 80 million in the construction of a new pulp Chemical Island facility in Brazil. The plant, operated by the company’s Pulp and Paper Chemicals business, Eka Chemicals, will supply the Suzano Maranhão pulp mill.

Andritz has successfully started up a new PrimeLine tissue machine for Fushun Mining Group in China. With this start-up, Fushun Mining Group, active in China's mining and oil shale processing sectors, has now embarked on the production of sanitary papers.

Ola Hildingsson elected to Södra Cell Board

Ola Hildingsson has been elected as a new member of the Board of Directors at Södra Cell. Ola holds a Master of Science in Forestry and has many years’ experience of the forestry industry, including working as a manager for what was at that time the Billerud Uddeholm sawmill and as CEO for SCA Timber AB.
