Sari Pajari-Sederholm appointed Metsä Group’s EVP, Strategy
Sari Pajari-Sederholm has been appointed Metsä Group’s EVP, Strategy as of 1 May 2021. She has worked within Metsä Group since 2007 e.g. as the Metsä Group’s CIO and in various management positions in the paperboard business, Metsä Board. Pajari-Sederholm moves to her new role from the position of Metsä Board’s SVP, Sales and Marketing.
In her new position Pajari-Sederholm is responsible for the planning, preparation and implementation support of Metsä Group’s strategy, as well as various business development programmes. Pajari-Sederholm is a member of Metsä Group’s Executive Management Team and reports to President and CEO Ilkka Hämälä.
After this appointment Metsä Group’s Executive Management Team consists of President and CEO Ilkka Hämälä; CFO, Deputy Managing Director, Metsäliitto Cooperative Vesa-Pekka Takala; EVP, Strategy Sari Pajari-Sederholm; COO, Metsäliitto Cooperative Juha Mäntylä; CEO, Metsä Fibre Oy Ismo Nousiainen; CEO, Metsä Board Corporation Mika Joukio and CEO, Metsä Tissue Corporation Esa Kaikkonen.
